WHO WE ARE

George H. Christian Academy has been serving the community sor twenty-two years, educating children in a Christian Environment. The Academy's vision, with the aid of the entire school community shall guide students to:

• face challenges with self-confidence and a willingness to risk failure
  
• think flexibility in a critical thinking, problem-solving environment
  
• work independently, as well as collaboratively
  
• act responsibly as a good citizen and value life-long learning
  
• keep the idea of a God-centered life in the forefront of the learning experience in and out of our   educational institution

It is our goal to build an activity-based setting to educate each student in a secular, as well as a religious setting, utilizing a curriculum developed from several sources, while aligned with the Mandates of the New York State Dept. of Education and the City of New York. Courses across the curriculum will infuse critical and creative thinking skills and habitats of the mind into content instuction.

In addition, we pledge to prepare each student for academic excellence and personal integrity in a coeducational community that emphasizes responsibility, stimulate collaborative inquiry, and promote mutual respect.
